Suffocating Culture (A reference to Jean Dubuffet)
Within the scope of the sociology of the body some researchers are treated body as a case which is constructed, shaped and fashioned. The individual loads up with education and information he/she receives. In this context, culture, art and science are important fields of this transformation.
In this context, it is possible to detect some situations in mass perception through culture and art. Culture, with capital letters, especially shows a passive structure based on respect more than a presentation based on relationality for structures which it wants public to accept. Therefore, depending on the cultural or artistic production, public enters to artistic or cultural productions (incl. Science) without an indirect commitment but leaning in front of it in a dignity. May the role of culture in building the society within a “culture industry” as the theoricians of Frankfurt School already named be underestimated?
As Buffet quotes “Class the dominant material power of the society is at the same time intellectual power of society. The class which keeps the material production vehicles in hand posses at the same time the intellectual production vehicles’ control.” How can be decoded the cultural encoding which arises an elitist position alluding them as “cultural heritage” and gives importance to past and present productions, saves them, spreads them?
How can be a cultural and artistic representation presented depends on communication, relationality by reversing the imposing attitude of above mentioned culture?
The event axis of which is designed in this way (exhibition, panel, semposium etc.) will present significant clues about mass’, artist’s, curator’s, institution’s and most important one about mass’ point of view who receives art.

“Baring Heart Quietly” Photograph Project
We breath. We eat. We watch. We go to work and work hard.
We are in a rotor. We are experiencing dreams, resentments, being crushed.
Nobody knows. Nobody sees; however, they are our reality.
There is no correct words to describe them, we can not describe them.
Light again reflects to our world with sunrise.
We try to transfer what are in our minds to photography.
With its pain, injustice, fear, envy, ambition
With its all reality
In the absence of absent words we tell to silence with our photographs.
Welcome to pictures in our mind.
